Construction support for general contractors
Bring us the part of the project you need covered.
CPS works with general contractors on portions of larger commercial projects. We review the requested work, organize qualified trade partners and coordinate our work with your schedule, site team and documentation requirements.
Send the drawings, scope, location and bid due date. We’ll review the package and confirm whether we can participate.

Know what our proposal includes
We review the drawings and requested work, then clarify what our proposal includes, what it excludes and where another trade’s work meets ours. Your estimating team can use those details to compare our proposal and resolve gaps before work starts.
Coordinate our work with yours
CPS organizes the trades and order of work for its part of the project. We coordinate access, progress updates, changes and remaining items with your designated project contacts. We confirm responsibilities before sending trades to the site.
Send your insurance requirements, submittal procedures, reporting expectations, billing requirements and closeout checklist with the bid invitation so we can account for them in our review.
Experience working under a general contractor
On a commercial construction project, CPS worked as a subcontractor on a package involving masonry and storefront glass. CPS coordinated its assigned work and required project documents with the general contractor.
What to include in your invitation
- Project location and facility type
- Scope or trade package requested
- Drawings, specifications and relevant addenda
- Bid deadline and anticipated construction dates
- Site-walk details and access requirements
- Your estimating or project-management contact
If you are still developing the scope, send what is available and tell us which questions need answers.
Tell us what you need
Tell us the city and state, what needs to be done and when you need it. We’ll review the details and follow up about how CPS can help.
